The World Green Building Congress

This year, in celebration of the DGNB’s 5th anniversary, the DGNB and Messe Stuttgart are offering you even more: on June 19 and 20, 2012, Consense will host the World Green Building Congress, where the World Green Building Council – the worldwide umbrella organization for sustainable building – is expecting experts from over 80 member countries. This opportunity will bring national and international sustainable building decision-makers together, a concentration of experts in this area unprecedented in Europe.

International Kick-off Event: World Green Building Night: To launch the joint event, the DGNB and the WorldGBC are hosting World Green Building Night on the evening of June 18. This international event will give you the opportunity to exchange ideas with experts from over 80 countries and make valuable new contacts. DGNB and World GBC members enjoy free entry and need only register in advance. A further 100 tickets are available for public sale as “2-Day PLUS” entry tickets. If you want to be there, you will want to act fast!

The Congress: Dialog in the Building Sector: Sustainability is both a great challenge and a great opportunity for the building and real estate sectors, and this theme will be discussed on many levels at the congress "Perspectives 2020: Challenges and Opportunities for the built environment". The plenum will serve as a stage for new ideas and new directions. Visionary and forward thinker Ken Yeang, an icon of environmental design in architecture has already signed on as speakers. In addition, numerous workshops will offer architects, planners, operators, investors, and product manufacturers the opportunity to discuss specific topics in greater depth.
