The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) and the Federal Chamber of German Architects (BAK) have presented their expertise in the future-oriented sustainable building market together in a shared exhibition stand at the Expo Real trade fair since 2008. This successful cooperation will be continued for its fourth year at Expo Real 2011.
The standout design of their exhibition stand has once again earned the DGNB and the BAK the Red Dot Award for Communication Design 2011. Their stands in previous years have also been awarded the International Forum (iF) Communication Design Award and the German Club of Designers (DDC) Bronze award.
The DGNB and the BAK once again offered a high-quality presentation program of thought-provoking lectures and discussions, focused on the theme of “Preserve, Renovate, Rethink”.
As part of its appearance at the trade fair the DGNB awarded again the DGNB Certificate for sustainable buildings, including for the first time an award category for Urban Quarters.
