DGNB International Board
Ensuring quality. Across the globe.
The DGNB International Board was established first and foremost to ensure the quality of the DGNB certification system in its adaptations for other countries. The board is composed of members of the DGNB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e. V.) and its international partner organizations. In addition to quality control, their responsibilities include system maintenance and development, and working to ensure that target, reference and limit values of the system are comparable across all countries.
Well-organized. Clearly regulated.
Every DGNB partner organization is allowed a maximum of two representatives on the DGNB International Board. A prerequisite for the right to vote is an established Cooperation Contract. Organizations which have signed a Memorandum of Understanding so far may participate in board meetings, but are not able to vote.
Regular Exchange. The DGNB International Board's meetings.
